What does made-to-proportion mean?

Made-to-proportion bridalwear means your wedding dress is created around your body proportions rather than relying solely on standard bridal sizing. This creates a more balanced, flattering and comfortable fit while reducing the need for extensive alterations.

Will i still need alterations?

Most brides require only minimal finishing adjustments such as slight strap or sleeve refinements, and many brides require no alterations at all. However, bridal alterations are sometimes a normal part of the bridal process depending on personal preference and any body changes between ordering and final fitting.

Can made-to-proportion bridalwear reduce alteration costs?

Yes. Because our gowns are designed around your proportions from the start, many brides significantly reduce the need for extensive alterations, usually saving up to £600 in tailoring costs.

What happens if my size changes after ordering?

Your gown is created using the measurements taken at the time of ordering. If body measurements change during production, any additional alterations required would remain the responsibility of the bride.
