We are situated just five minutes from West Worthing Station, with complimentary private parking available directly outside for a seamless arrival. Yes. All appointments at Carolyn Anne’s Bridal are private and by appointment only, ensuring every bride receives a calm, uninterrupted and personalised bridal experience.
Your private bridal appointment is a relaxed designer-led experience where you can explore our exclusive collections, discuss styles, try gowns and receive expert guidance tailored to your vision, shape and preferences. Appointments also include refreshments, celebration moments and a calm luxury atmosphere designed entirely around you.
Appointments are typically around 2 hours, allowing plenty of time to explore styles comfortably without feeling rushed.
We recommend bringing a small supportive bridal party whose opinions you trust most to help keep the experience relaxed and enjoyable. Our boutique can comfortably seat 4 guests. Please contact us if you have more so we can do our best to accommodate you.
We offer appointments 7 days per week between 11am and 9pm but are limited due to high demand, due to our exclusive design service so please allow enough time to book in. We recommend 10 months before your wedding date but we can offer priority rush orders.
Absolutely! Although we are exclusively a plus size bridal boutique showcasing realistic plus size samples 16-36, we do have clamps and clips to pin dresses to you to show you how the dress will look in your size, Our wedding dresses are all made brand new to your exact proportions so yes we do cater to every size.
We offer 3 pricing tiers, Made to order, Customised and Bespoke. Every dress is made brand new, to your exact proportions which save you up to £600 in structural alterations costs. Our wedding dresses start at £1,500.
Yes, our wedding dresses are made from lots of different fabrics so you get to try them on against your skin. We also have swatch charts showcasing 150 colour choices for wedding dresses and 171 colour choices for bridesmaid dresses, so you never have to order blindly or risk receiving the wrong shade.

Yes absolutely! Most of our brides comment how lovely it was to be able to try on so many plus size wedding dresses. We have intentionally crafted our gowns as plus sizes to solve the biggest problem in bridal (Too many unrealistic tiny sizes in other bridal shops) Every size bride deserves an enjoyable experience and feel the magic of trying on wedding dresses. We will never squeeze a bride into our dresses and we clamp and clip dresses to show brides how the dress will look once fitted in their exact size.

Yes. We proudly specialise in inclusive bridalwear and offer Pure Joie gowns for brides sized 16–36, with designs created to flatter curves beautifully.
Pure Joie gowns are created using our made-to-proportion approach, helping achieve a more flattering and comfortable fit while reducing the need for extensive alterations. We measure shoulder to floor including your wedding day shoes so no need to alter your length, and individual measurements of bust, waist and hips to accommodate your unique shape. We will take extra measurements depending on the dress style chose for example sleeves and shoulders etc. Because our dresses are made in 3 months your dress should fit you perfectly unless you have changed in size since the order. We recommend a 35 year experienced haute couture seamstress for any size changes and refinements which you will need to pay for directly.

Made-to-proportion bridalwear means your wedding dress is created around your body proportions rather than relying solely on standard bridal sizing. This creates a more balanced, flattering and comfortable fit while reducing the need for extensive alterations.
Most brides require only minimal finishing adjustments such as slight strap or sleeve refinements, and many brides require no alterations at all. However, bridal alterations are sometimes a normal part of the bridal process depending on personal preference and any body changes between ordering and final fitting.
Yes. Because our gowns are designed around your proportions from the start, many brides significantly reduce the need for extensive alterations, usually saving up to £600 in tailoring costs.
Your gown is created using the measurements taken at the time of ordering. If body measurements change during production, any additional alterations required would remain the responsibility of the bride.
Yes. Final refinements and alterations are carried out by our highly recommended 35 year experienced haute couture seamstress who specialises in bridal fitting and garment alterations.
No unfortunately refunds are not available on our dresses due to them all being made brand new specifically for you and your body shape. We do not issue refunds for change of mind, wedding postponements and cancellations, not liking a dress when it arrives, a wedding dress looking slightly different to the original sample because it's been customised to your style and unique size, Change of size since the order and alterations are needed. If there are any issues with the quality of your dress once it arrives it will be rectified before you receive your dress.
Your fitting is the first time you will get to see your dress and try it on. We will advise if you need any alterations and give you a highly recommended seamstresses details to go to directly. This is also the time to say if you are happy with your dress, are concerned about anything or not happy. Once you have left our boutique we are no longer responsible for any issues regarding your dress, so please check your dress thoroughly before you leave our bridal boutique.
