Yes absolutely! Although we specialise in plus  size wedding dresses, our boutique displays samples 6 to 36 with most being over size 16. Our custom bespoke sizing service me and we are size inclusive for any size bride.

We are a private luxury service bridal boutique based in Worthing, West Sussex very close to West Worthing train station. We are in a residential area and there is ample free parking outside. You can find our boutique at 61 St Andrews road, Worthing, West Sussex BN13 1HW

Our normal lead times are as follows...11 months before your wedding date you would pay for your dress, this secures our dressmaker and she will order the fabrics. 7 months before your date, we will measure you and your dress will then be in production. 4 months before your wedding date you will receive your dress and come for your fitting. The 4 months that are left is enough time for our highly recommended seamstress to do any alterations or tweaking before your big day if any are needed. If you have less time than our normal lead times, we can provide a rush priority order depending on when your wedding date is. 

We will have your dress made to your individual size of shoulder to floor including shoes, waist, bust and hips at the time you order to help save you high alterations costs. 99% of the time our brides walk away with no alterations needed but sometimes alterations will be needed if you change in size or need tweaking for perfect fit. We are the designers of our dresses, not the dressmakers so your dress does not come with lots of fittings. Alterations are not included in the price of your dress and you do need to pay a seamstress separately but they will very minimal in cost if your size does not change since the order.

We recommend wearing a strapless bra, pair of leggings and a heel height you will wear on your wedding day for measuring. You may want to bring a hair tie in case you want to put your hair up.

We allow a maximum of 4 guests plus the bride.. This is a good number to be seated comfortably and limit too many confusing opinions. Bring the people who you trust and that will be supportive in whichever dress you choose.

Sorry we no longer allow any photos to be taken of our dresses during your appointment. We want to protect our exclusive designs from being copied and keep the appointment special. Looking at yourself in the mirror wearing the dress is best, not look at bad quality photos on a phone later. You are welcome to come back to try on your favourites. If you actually purchase your dress on appointment day, then you can take photos of that specific dress as we know it will not be copied elsewhere. (Please respect our policy whilst in our boutique, thank you.)

We allow up to 2 hours for each appointment because included is a styling consultation and no limits on the amount of dresses you can try on.

If you Say "Yes to the dress" on appointment day and are earlier than normal lead times, then you need to secure your dress with a non refundable 50% deposit, this secures your dress style. The balance will be due 7 months before you receive your dress. If you have gone over our normal lead times then the full balance is due to get your dress in production as soon as possible. Ask  us about payment options if you would like one.

Our wedding dresses are made within three months by our highly skilled dressmakers to ensure your dress is perfect in design and fit.

Yes at Carolyn Anne’s Bridal, we  do charge a small booking fee to ensure that every appointment is reserved for brides who are genuinely ready to find their perfect dress. This fee helps limit no-shows and last-minute cancellations, allowing us to dedicate our time and expertise to each bride who visits us. It also ensures that our appointments remain focused, relaxed, and meaningful—rather than a “dress-up” experience for those intending to shop elsewhere. Every styling consultation is a private, one-to-one session tailored entirely to you, and the booking fee is fully redeemable against the purchase of your gown. It’s our way of valuing your time as much as ours, and of ensuring that every bride receives the attention and care she deserves.
